(Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de la Navigation Danubienne), &#8211; supun la cuno\u0219tin\u021ba Excelen\u021bei Voastre, urm\u0103toarele: \u00een iarna anului 1925, remorcherul M.F. 10 \u2013 comandat de subsemnatul \u2013 vas proprietate al sus men\u021bionatei societ\u0103\u021bi, &#8211; \u00een timpul c\u0103l\u0103toriei spre Br\u0103ila din cauza sloiurilor de ghea\u021b\u0103 ce abundau Dun\u0103rea, la circa 20 km jos Giurgiu, &#8211; a fost lovit la fund astfel, c\u0103 numai cu mari greut\u0103\u021bi a fost salvat de la \u00eenec.<\/p>\n<p>Pentru modul cum m-am comportat, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 mul\u021bumirile ce mi s-au adresat (v. copia, anexat\u0103, dup\u0103 telegrama nr. 293 a S.N.D.), cu adr. nr. 901.13.20\/1927 (anexat\u0103 \u00een copie), mi se comunic\u0103 c\u0103 Guvernul Francez a binevoit a-mi acorda medalia Recuno\u0219tin\u021bei Franceze. Supuse cuno\u0219tin\u021bei Excelen\u021bei Voastre, cele mai sus, cu onoare, v\u0103 rog s\u0103 binevoi\u021bi a aprecia \u0219i hot\u0103r\u00ee acordarea cuvenitei autoriza\u021biuni pentru portul amintitei medalii\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Apoi, I. G. Duca, ministrul Afacerilor Str\u0103ine, a \u00eenaintat c\u0103tre \u00cenalta Regen\u021b\u0103 raportul nr. 10.314 din 13 febr. 1928, pe care a fost pus\u0103 \u00cenalta Apostil\u0103 prin care \u0219i Str\u00e2mbeanu Gh., din T.-Severin, a fost autorizat de a primi Medalia \u201eRecuno\u0219tin\u021ba Francez\u0103\u201d. Avizul a fost publicat \u00een \u201eMonitorul Oficial\u201d nr. 46 din 28 februarie 1928, p. 1515.<\/p>\n<p>Prezent\u0103m descrierea distinc\u021biei onorifice, precum \u0219i reproducerile grafice care provin de la Arhivele Na\u021bionale Istorice Centrale, Ministerul Afacerilor Externe. Cancelaria Ordinelor, dosar nr. 558\/1931 (documentele) \u0219i de pe site-ul http:\/\/www.france-phaleristique.com\/medaille_reconnaissance_francaise_2_type.htm (decora\u021bia).<\/p>\n<p>Medalia \u201eReconnaissance fran\u00e7aise\u201d a fost instituit\u0103 prin decretul din 13 iulie 1917 \u0219i a fost destinat\u0103 pentru a recompensa devotamentul civililor francezi sau str\u0103ini fa\u021b\u0103 de victimele r\u0103zboiului \u00een curs. Medalia, de vermeil clasa I, de argint clasa a II-a \u0219i de bronz clasa a III-a, era de form\u0103 rotund\u0103, av\u00e2nd pe avers, gravat\u0103 \u00een excizie, efigia unei femei purt\u00e2nd pe cap o bonet\u0103 frigian\u0103 reprezent\u00e2nd Fran\u021ba, oferind o ramur\u0103 de palmier.<\/p>\n<p>Pe revers, gravate, de asemenea, \u00een relief, pe centru, un scut de tip francez modern \u00eenc\u0103rcat cu ini\u021bialele \u201eRF\u201d \u0219i \u00eenconjurat de o coroan\u0103 de trandafiri. \u00cen exerg\u0103, scrise cu litere majuscule, cuvintele: RECONNAISSANCE FRAN\u00c7AISE.
